Terms of Service

Last updated: October 9, 2026

These terms apply to anyone who creates a Starit account or uses the Starit service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Starit on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.

The service

Starit lets businesses collect reviews from their customers through QR codes, see their ratings on a dashboard and reply to reviews. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

Early access and paid plans

During early access, every available feature is free until the end date shown in your account. After early access ends, paid plans apply at the prices shown on our website. We will tell you before any charge, and you will not be charged without your agreement.

You can stop using the service at any time.

Acceptable use

When you use Starit, you agree not to:

  • Post fake reviews, or reviews about your own business or a competitor.
  • Offer rewards only for positive reviews, or pressure customers to change their review.
  • Use customers' contact details for anything unrelated to their review, such as sending marketing they did not agree to.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, offensive or that you do not have the right to use.
  • Try to access other businesses' data, disrupt the service, or get around its limits or security.

Reviews and content

Reviews are written by customers. Owners can read and reply to them, but cannot edit or delete them. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

You keep ownership of the content you add, such as your logo and replies, and of your business's reviews data. You give us permission to store and display that content as needed to provide the service.

Customer information

As an owner, you are responsible for using your customers' information lawfully and in line with the privacy rules that apply to your business. Our Privacy Policy explains how Starit handles that information.

Availability

We work to keep Starit available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Starit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and ending your account

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can close your account at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top and tell owners about important changes before they take effect. If you keep using Starit after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the provider of Starit is established, except where the law of your country gives you protections that cannot be waived.
